Make your fonts smooth in Ubuntu and KDE
Another quick note. Apparently Apple holds the patent to the font smoothing technology that makes everything on the Mac look so much nicer than other operating systems.
Who cares you say? You run Linux? Well, it turns out that someone has reverse engineered it and it is doable on Linux as well though they can’t turn it on by default due to legal reasons.
